How Garment Remodelling Works

Every project begins with an inspection of the garment, fabric, and construction. We review what can be changed, what should stay in place, and how the requested fit or redesign may be shaped by the original piece.

From there, we discuss the concept, outline the scope, and provide a project quote after the materials and design have been reviewed. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately, and work starts only after design approval.

Made for garments with a second life in mind

TailorCraft redesigns, alters, and upcycles clothing with careful assessment and clear approval at each stage.

Our workshop handles dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Where available, we also match original thread and trim to keep the finish consistent with the garment.

Before collection, the finished piece is checked again for fit or finish. Small final adjustments can be handled carefully at that stage, depending on the garment and the agreed design.
