Garment remodelling with purpose

Our workshop focuses on practical alterations, thoughtful restyling, and fabric reuse. Each project begins with a garment assessment so we can review construction, condition, and the fit you want before discussing the scope.

We support customers across Singapore with consultation, remodelling, and upcycling projects that respect the original piece while making it more wearable today.

What we value

Values behind every project

Our work is shaped by clear expectations, careful workmanship, and respect for each garment. We aim to make every project practical, wearable, and true to the material available.

01

Clear assessment

We review the garment first, then explain what can be changed based on seams, fabric, and construction. That keeps the quote and the plan grounded in the actual piece.

02

Thoughtful remodelling

We approach redesign as a practical process, from concept approval to remodelling work and final review. The result depends on the garment, but the process stays structured.

03

Careful finishing

Where suitable, we match original thread and trim to keep the finish consistent with the garment. If exact materials are not available, we discuss the options clearly.

04

Made for reuse

We welcome customers who want to keep sentimental pieces, update vintage clothing, or reduce waste by reusing fabric in a new form.

Our story

How our workshop grew

We started with a simple idea: good clothing should not be discarded too quickly. By combining tailoring skill with redesign thinking, we help garments stay useful in a way that suits the original fabric and construction.

2016

Started in 2016

TailorCraft began as a small studio built around careful garment work and clear communication.

2019

Built around redesign

Over time, the workshop expanded into remodelling and upcycling for customers who wanted more from the clothes they already owned.

Today

Focused on lasting wear

Today, we continue to refine fit, reshape silhouettes, and reuse fabric where the material allows.
